"Went here tonight for dinner with my husband and toddler daughter. My husband and I have both visited Palestine, and the food at House of Hummus was as good as any food either of us experienced there. We are so glad this restaurant is in Buffalo! We tried the chicken shawerma, falafel sandwich, Jerusalem salad, and baklava. All delicious, and my baby loved the Jerusalem salad and pita with hummus. The chicken shawerma was our favorite, and we can't wait to go back to try more of the menu. The guys working were very nice and very sweet to my daughter. It was a great experience all around!"

"Stopped in for lunch today for the first time, and was blown away. The food was amazing, and the fellas working were incredibly nice and welcoming.

I've been to several other good Middle Eastern restaurants around town, but I've been craving some dishes that are more similar to what I had on a recent trip to Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Jordan. Exactly what I was looking for. Definitely going to be a regular stop for me now."

"Stopped in for the first time last week with my wife and had baba ganoush, chix shwerma wraps, lentil soup, mint tea and baklava. The entire bill was under $30 and the quality is outstanding. With Falafel Bar closed we are happy to find another terrific place for hummus, falafel, and shwerma. Can't wait to go back. When you finish your meal you can visit the market next door that's connected to the restaurant. Say hi to Ali, super nice guy!"

"I died and went to hummus heaven! The portions and prices are in my opinion reasonable, the flavor is out of this world! I got the chicken shawerma and the vegan hummus platter. The pitas were fresh and warm and they melted in your mouth. The owner and workers were very attentive and eager to get our food out hot and fast. Their Turkish coffee is strong and will grow hair on your chest. My hubby got the meat shawerma and it was equally mouth watering. The shawermas were filled with meat of choice, lettuce, tomato, special sauce (which was earthy and flaverful). Their french fries were also very good. Fried perfectly and where slightly crunchy outside and soft inside. Just the way I like them. I also got their pomegranate juice with my meal and it complimented the flavors of my hummus and shawerma perfectly.

The inside was clean and cozy as well. A great place to sit and enjoy a quiet lunch or an outing with a friend or loved one. This is definately one of my new favorites for the new year to come."
